London CNN —Another official photograph involving Catherine, Princess of Wales was digitally manipulated, according to a leading photo agency, sparking a second royal retouching controversy just as Kate was spotted in public for the first time in months. On Saturday, Prince William and Kate were spotted and photographed at a farm shop near their home, easing questions over her health. The princess was also photographed earlier this month inside her private car departing Windsor Castle, as she attended a private appointment on March 11, Kensington Palace previously told CNN. Getty said in an editor’s note that the image “has been digitally enhanced at source.” CNN has contacted the agency; Kensington Palace declined to comment when contacted Tuesday. Getty in particular has long had a close relationship with Kensington Palace; they have often been invited to conduct shoots of royals, and have sponsored royal events.

CNN —The Supreme Court will hear arguments Monday in an unusual First Amendment appeal from the National Rifle Association against a New York financial regulator who persuaded banks and insurance companies to sever ties with the gun rights group. The danger, she said, is that regulators in both red and blue states could start leaning on insurance companies and banks to drop coverage for disfavored advocacy groups or companies. Critics dubbed the policies “murder insurance.”If other insurance companies distanced themselves from the NRA, Vullo argues, it was because they no longer wanted to do business with the group. New York CNN —On St. Patrick’s Day, throwing back an Irish whiskey might taste different than it used to. Flavored whiskey is a $1.5 billion category and accounts for 20% of all US whiskey sales. In the past few years, flavored whiskey sales have outpaced unflavored whiskey, according to Southern Glazer’s distributors. But with younger drinkers gravitating toward punchier flavors, Irish brands “have to be much more flexible than their historical beliefs have been,” he told CNN. Flavors are “a good way to get them into the brand and into the whiskey category, and certainly into Irish whiskey,” Basford said.
